Virginia High Varsity Bearcats lost the lead late in a 3-2 defeat to Lebanon Pioneers Varsity on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with Lebanon Pioneers Varsity batting in the top of the sixth when Eli Breeding tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Lebanon Pioneers Varsity pitchers struck out seven, while Virginia High Varsity Bearcats sat down seven.
