Virginia High cruised by John Battle by a score of 17-0 tuning up for
their spring break trip to Disney World's Wide World of Sports. Hunter
Greer belted out a three run homer along with a pair of singles to
finish up  with a three
for three performance. Brandon Arnold added three hits and two RBI's
and Zak Messer banged out a pair of doubles in the seven run first
inning, one a base clearing three RBI gapper. Preston Smith pitched
three innings giving up two hits and Trey Roark finished out the last
two innings on the hill allowing no hits and chalking up six strikeouts.
Virginia High now travels to Walt Disney World to participate in the
Wide World of Sports' Spring Training held at the Atlanta Braves spring
training complex.
